Below you will find this incredible poem by Shantideva to remind you of why you are here and to use this to put power into your presentation purpose. Someone shared this with me over the weekend and I immediately felt guided to share this with you. (I always honor what I am guided to do!) This poem spoke to me on every level because for me it is about positively impacting the lives of others.
Just like me, I know you have your own unique message to share. This poem may reach deep inside your core, like it did with me. It is here to remind you of what you are here to do. I feel that people need to hear your message and they so desperately need your help. Read the poem and remember it is your time to step into the speaking spotlight and help all those people you want to help.
May I be a guard for those who need protection,
A guide for those on the path,
A boat, a raft, a bridge for those who wish to cross the flood.
May I be a lamp in the darkness,
A resting place for the weary, A healing medicine for all who are sick,
A vase of plenty, a tree of miracles,
And for the boundless multitude of living beings,
May I be their sustenance and awakening
Enduring like the earth and the sky
Until all beings are free from sorrow
And all are awakened.
As you go about your day, your week, your life remember why did it speak to you on a deep level? What are you here to do? Why are you committed to making a difference? Why does it need to happen now? Post your comments and let me know. I look forward to reading what inspires you!
